Introduction To Each Factory
We have multiple production sites, and while each factory plays a different role, they work closely together to enable efficient product production.
The Role of Each Manufacturing Facility
Qingdao and Togura Factories: Working Together to Maintain Quality

The "fabricated metal parts" that form the backbone of our products are a crucial element of Takeuchi's manufacturing process. These fabricated metal parts are components made of iron and are produced at our Qingdao factory in China and our Togura Factory in Japan. The Qingdao factory mainly produces fabricated metal parts for large, heavy models, while Togura Factory mainly produces fabricated metal parts for smaller models.
Both factories strive to maintain the high quality of the Takeuchi brand by exchanging engineers and sharing technology through regular business trips, ensuring consistently high quality regardless of which factory produces the fabricated metal products.
<Employee Perspective>
"Achieving durability involves time-consuming and labor-intensive processes. Our refusal to compromise is what makes our products resistant to breakage, and this is Takeuchi's commitment to quality."
Head Office and Aoki Factories: Where Quality Comes Together

The head office factory and Aoki Factory are important bases for assembling products. Fabricated metal products produced at the Tokura and China factories, as well as parts such as engines and hydraulic equipment delivered from suppliers, are gathered here and put into the assembly process.
This is where our goal of "world-class quality" takes concrete form in the product. On a moving platform called a slat conveyor, on-site technicians carefully assemble each component. Due to their compact size, small construction machinery often involves intricate tasks that are difficult for robots to perform, making delicate work by human hands essential.
To pursue "world-class quality," close collaboration between R&D Department and assembly departments is crucial. Employees on the assembly floor commented, "We also provide feedback to development. We identify assembly problems during the prototyping stage and make improvements." By considering ease of assembly from the design stage, not only is work efficiency increased, but defects are prevented, leading to the creation of higher-quality products. R&D Department and assembly departments sometimes engage in heated discussions in front of a whiteboard, brainstorming ways to identify areas for improvement.
U.S. Factory: Supporting Compact Track Loader Production
The U.S. factory plays a vital role in TAKEUCHI's global production system. This factory handles the final stages of production, such as painting and attaching accessories, to semi-finished products assembled at the head office factory. Performing these final stages at the U.S. factory contributes to increasing overall global production volume and meeting the strong demand for track loaders.
*Our US factory produces track loaders for the US market.
Each of our locations leverages its unique strengths and works closely together to deliver "the world's highest quality" to customers around the globe.
Safety Comes First
At our factory, safety is our top priority. We have wide aisles throughout the factory, ensuring that the paths of workers and those transporting parts do not intersect, minimizing the risk of contact accidents. Aiming to create a factory where everyone can work comfortably, we utilize automated guided vehicles (AGVs) to deliver parts to the production lines. The use of AGVs for transporting heavy objects further enhances safety.
While implementing safety systems is important, we also create a safe and comfortable work environment by ensuring that all employees have a high level of safety awareness and act proactively.
