Since its founding in 1963, our group has pioneered new markets in the construction machinery market by developing the "world's first compact excavators" and the "world's first track loaders," and has achieved growth by consistently facing and responding to global needs.
Our small construction machinery plays a vital role in building homes where people can relax, laying water pipes to provide essential water for daily life, and supporting people's "happy and prosperous lives" by being deeply involved in the "housing" aspect of life, which is a fundamental part of food, clothing, and shelter. Furthermore, over 95% of our consolidated sales are generated overseas, with North America and Europe being our main markets. Compared to Japan, construction machinery in Europe and North America is characterized by significantly longer operating hours. Our greatest strength lies in the high market evaluation of our products. Our products, which are powerful, durable, easy to operate, comfortable, and easy to maintain, have earned high praise in both markets by providing unique added value.
The founder of our company envisioned creating products that are unique and useful to people. This spirit serves as our guiding principle and is carried on as our corporate philosophy: "From World First to World Leader, TAKEUCHI." We are developing new products to expand our lineup of battery-powered compact excavators, contributing to the realization of a sustainable society. Currently, the electrification of construction machinery is progressing at a much slower pace than anticipated due to economic and efficiency disadvantages, but decarbonization is a global consensus. We will contribute broadly to society through the development, manufacturing, sales, and after-sales support of products that are environmentally friendly, safer, and more efficient in urban development.
