Technological Progress
1971
Developed the world's 360 degree compact excavator (TB1000)

1975
Adopted a blade
*A blade is a plate-like component attached to the front of an excavator, used to push soil and sand in the direction of travel to level the ground. Although it is now a standard feature, it was not present from the beginning of compact excavators development, but was adopted as excavator development progressed.

1976
Development of a disassembled compact excavators for caisson construction (TK)
1981
The walk-through design, which allows access from both sides of the shovel, significantly improved work efficiency
Rubber tracks used for excavators (TB650S).
* Excavator tracks come in two types: rubber tracks and steel tracks. Rubber tracks protect the paved surface and have the advantage of generating less vibration and noise compared to steel tracks.

1986
Developed the world's first track loader (TL20)

Jointly developed and sold an zero tail swing excavator with Ishikawajima Construction Machinery Co., Ltd.
Magic arm mechanism enables turning within the vehicle width (TZ250)

1988
A machine with a short tail swing has appeared.
Technological innovations are progressing, including a 180-degree boom swing, a crawler width adjustment mechanism, a one-touch deceleration system and straight-line driving system (firsts for compact excavators, and triple-flange track rollers.
1989
The floor level increase has significantly improved service efficiency.
*Floor-up refers to a design where the driver's seat is tilted forward and opens wide to facilitate maintenance of the machine's interior.

1994
Zero tail swing excavator has been added to the product lineup and became popular (TB30UR, TB55UR).

2000
Front roll-up doors adopted for track loader (TL150)
*A front roll-up door is a door located in front of the driver's seat that can be opened and closed by lifting it upwards. This allows the driver to work without the door hitting the bucket, which moves up and down, even when the door is open.

2003
Side dumping is now possible with the swivel vessel dumper (TCR50)
*The vessel, which is the boat-shaped part that loads soil, rotates, allowing soil to be discharged laterally as well.

2009
Developed the world's first lithium-ion battery-powered compact excavator (according to our own research).

2021
Shipment of lithium-ion battery-powered compact excavator (TB20e)
