Engagement with Local Communities

Takeuchi Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

We believe that contributing to the local community is one of the roles that a company should fulfill, and we are actively engaged in various activities, primarily focused on nurturing the next generation.

Takeuchi Manufacturing has been actively accepting factory tours for many years in response to requests from local elementary, junior high, and high schools, as well as universities in Nagano Prefecture. In 2025, a total of 17 tours were held, with 579 participants. In addition, since 2015, the company has been providing educational materials to schools for students with disabilities free of charge every year.

Takeuchi US

Takeuchi US is based on a corporate culture of "mutual support and assistance," and places great importance on contributing to the local community.

Based on this philosophy, in 2024 we primarily engaged in the following activities through the "Takeuchi Gives" program: providing students with technical training experience and offering Thanksgiving meals to those in need.

1. Support for Education and Technical Training

With the aim of nurturing the next generation of engineers, we continue to donate equipment and engines to vocational schools.

  • In 2024, we provided a TL12 engine to the diesel engine training program at Spartanburg Community College. This allows students to gain practical experience using actual machinery, promoting their future career development and contributing to an increase in skilled workers in the local community.

2. Addressing Food Insecurity

We conducted activities to support individuals and families facing food insecurity. In response to these activities, we received a message through the Takeuchi US website that read, "I received food assistance from your company. My family has had a very difficult year, and I am deeply grateful for your generosity in easing the burden of Thanksgiving."

  • Support for the Banks-Jackson Food Bank:
    • The bank has been serving Banks and Jackson counties in Georgia since 1982, assisting an average of 772 individuals and families in need each month. Takeuchi US has donated food to the organization for four consecutive years, and in 2024, its employees donated enough food for 147 Thanksgiving meals.
  • Support for The Carpenter’s Table:
    • In South Carolina, for the second consecutive year, we provided 63 meals to help families in need have a bright and happy Thanksgiving.

3. Future Outlook

We will maintain our stance of "taking a step forward when needed" and continue to actively promote social contribution activities as a "positive, inspiring, and generous corporate citizen."
